Life at our house

Sorry that I haven't posted in a while. Life here has been busy.

Shawn is busy with work. He puts in a day at one job site, comes home for 10 minutes and off to the next job site until 9PM or later. It's busy trying to get all the jobs he has to do done.
Over Labor Day weekend, I went to Seattle - Shawn stayed home and worked. My nephew Eric got married. I was able to see some sights and am anxious to get back there again. I got in Thursday night, the wedding was Friday night and left early Monday AM. Did a lot in the short amount of time we were there.

Got to see the water:

Took the ferry to Whidby Island - it's gorgeous!

Went to Deception Pass in order to try conquer my fear of heights. Didn't work, but it was awesome!

the newlyweds: Eric and Rosella

I have been busy with the volunteering stuff I've been doing for Horizons and the Kaleva Ladies. At night, I obsess about coyotes. We had a coyote get one of my baby goats (born the beginning of August) and one of our geese. I'm obsessed with trying to find it again to shoot it. Haven't been able to yet. It is rainy or foggy every night. I know it will be back again :(
Did a day trip down to the cities last Sunday for Eric and Rosie's MN reception. Didn't get to visit anyone as it was strictly there and back. I have to head down to Farmington next weekend for Missi's bridal shower - Ivan's fiancee. Then October 13th, we will be down in the cities for the weekend - my brother Ivan gets married on Saturday and there will be a 70th birthday party for my dad on Sunday. Hope to see some of you as well.
We have a new tenant at our house - my niece Denise moved in. She is going to school in Duluth for dental assistant. She is also working, but mostly days so she is home most evenings. It's interesting trying to get used to having someone live with us again. She is a lot of fun!
That's it from our "neck of the woods".

sounds like your busy! It would take time to get used to someone living with us. But I am sure it is fun for you to have your niece living there!
